By accessing or using the Golden Crumbs Bespoke Cakes website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Golden Crumbs Bespoke Cakes provides custom celebration cakes and related products for personal and corporate events. Our services include:
- Custom cake design and creation
- Ready-made cake collection
- Delivery and pickup services
- Corporate event catering
3. Orders and Payment
3.1 Order Placement
Orders can be placed through our website or by contacting us directly. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
3.2 Deposit and Payment
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order
- The remaining balance is due before delivery or pickup
- All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of applicable taxes
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or approved e-wallets
3.3 Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of order confirmation will be honored for that order.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information on cancellations, changes, and refunds. Key points include:
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Orders can be postponed with at least 7 days notice
- No cancellations within 7 days of the event date
5. Delivery and Pickup
5.1 Delivery
- Delivery is available within the Klang Valley area
- Delivery fees apply based on distance (free for orders RM1,000+)
- Customer must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery
- We are not responsible for damage after delivery completion
5.2 Pickup
- Self-pickup is available from our designated location
- Pickup times must be within our operating hours
- Customer is responsible for safe transportation after pickup
6. Product Information
6.1 Handmade Products
All our cakes are handmade. Please expect a 20-30% variation from reference images. Each cake is unique and crafted with care.
6.2 Allergens
Our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and soy. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please inform us of any allergies.
6.3 Freshness
Our cakes are best consumed within 3-5 days when stored properly in the refrigerator. We are not responsible for quality issues due to improper storage.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including designs, images, text, and logos, is the property of Golden Crumbs Bespoke Cakes and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission.
8. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golden Crumbs Bespoke Cakes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
